The hotel staff were freindly and the shuttle service to and from the airport/station was extremely good. room was spacious and clean and it was a relaxing location
Two - The receptionist said she would print our tickets to our train journey into venice.she did not tell us these needed to be stamped at the station so we were totally unaware we had to do this. a ticket inspector on the train charged us 50 eurs because tickets were not stamped which was a very unpleasant experience - especially for my 75 year old mother !.This affected our budget and we were upset &angry arriving in venice which spolit it for quite a while. We didnt see the same receptionist again and there was no apology. I think the Hotel should have paid the 50 euros as it was their mistake not to tell us. outrageous! The other is that there was nowhere open to eat when we arrived and the set menu at the hotel was poor and bad value
Away from the city life, nice place to relax with the natural enviornment, friendly and cooperative staff.
The reception staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was very good in a very attractive large dining room overlooking beautiful gardens. The gardens had lots of mature trees and a small playground for children. A free-standing outside pool and sun-loungers made for a very relaxing afternoon. The hotel is located close to Train Station that makes travelling to Venice simple.
The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful, especially Francesca on reception.
The hotel rooms were supposed to have air conditioning but it was not switched on. We twice requested that it be switched on because it was too hot for us and we found it difficult to sleep. The staff said they could not do this without permission from the owner. The air conditioning was never switched on.
The country setting was very relaxing and the breakfast buffet was delightful.
No pillows! Ok, so you can't replace beds but adding good pillows would help tremendously.
The garden of this hotel is lovely. We appreciated the room design with the large glass window and its terrace.
Hotel is a good starting point for jump (and for rest after your travel) to Venice, Padova,Treviso (if you have a car - there is no problem at all). Mutch cheaper then Venice hotels with the same amenities.
Quarto D'Altino - just small village on the road, so there is nothing to do and nothing to see around the hotel. WiFi was strong only in lobby. The hotel staff serving breakfast most of the time was sullen and ungracious (but reception do their best everytime).
Staff were very friendly. The rooms were very clean and tastefully furnished. This hotel was located two minutes from train station. The train journey into Venice was fifteen minutes and cost two euro twenty per person and took you direct to the start of the Grand Canal. Fantastic location for a weekend break. Free parking at the train station so not worth driving into Venice yourself. This hotel also offers a courtesy bus to and from the airport and train station, there is a charge for this but by using this service car hire would not be required.
There was nothing not to like
The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly to us, they told us all we needed to know about getting to Venice upon our arrival, gave us a train timetable without us even asking. They provide a shuttle bus to the train station, which is about 5 mins away by car. Alternatively, you can park your car at the train station for free and the train journey from Quarto d'Altino to Venice takes about 20 minutes. The hotel is set in a lovely, peaceful surroundings within a large park with a lot of outdoor space to relax in and enjoy (would be great for families with kids). Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Had a very lovely stay!
the stuff did anything to assist us and gave us lots of information. breakfast was great and the dining room is pretty. comfortable and easy way to go to venice by train.
Enjoyed the stay, value for money was great and the staff was very friendly!
Food, atmosphere and service of the restuarant is good. Room is comfortable and it makes me more happy with the attractive rate.
The reception staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient
Quiet location. Great breakfast room area and good selection of food at breakfast. New rooms look impressive.
It's a relaxing place, 20 min. by Venezia by train. A very good solution if you have a car. Very good price for value. The breakfast buffet is very good, the staff very friendly. A good place to combine hollidays with exploring Venezia. 2 km by train station.
